Best Green Day Show EVER. Great atmosphere, the boys were amazing, the audience was awesome, the support act fucking rocked, just one great moment after another.
Here's some of the Highlights
The Donots:
Awesome band. Never seen them live before, never really heard that much of there music before, but that's gonna change now. There really nice guys, it was a lot of fun with them, I rocked really hard despite the fact that I couldn't sing along at all (most of the time). They played 8 songs, my personal highlights where the song from the new album, really fucking loved that one, and the last song, the Twisted Sisters cover "We're not gonna take it". At the end of this song, Ingo (the singer) came down the stage right in front of me, climbed up on the barrier and then climbed into the crowd and stood up and he was so close to me that I actually helped supporting one of his legs for a while and when they left he went up on the speaker in front of me and at some point gave me a thumbs up. I really enjoyed them a lot, there a great live band and I'm glad that there gonna be at the other two shows as well.
Green Day:
Well what can I say, words almost can't describe how awesome it was. Billie was on stage for not even a minute when he saw me, gave me a point and a happy "Hey!", later into the song Mike saw me as and did the same, as usual I was standing on his side, this time I was standing in the first row almost at the corner to the catwalk the entire show. He also said something but I didn't catch that (I really should teach myself how to read lips), and once he threw me a pick again, this time I came really very close to catching it, I really just missed it. And Tre, well. We had a LOT of fun. That's all I'm gonna say on that.
As for the songs, there weren't really any major changes to the setlist yet, no songs of the new album that hadn't been played before, not that it mattered to me, I enjoyed it just the way it was. We got Nice guys finish last followed by Burn Out, what a nice treat that was. Before Brain Stew they did a lil Metal Jam, including snippets of Iron Man, Rock you like a Hurricane (probably cause the singer of the band that song is from was actually at the show, I saw him standing up in the stands somewhere when the Donots dedicated two songs to his band), and finally Highway to Hell, which they played completely, that one was really awesome.
3 people got on stage to sing Longview, a guy who btw. contrary to what all the lil sucks ups on gdc try to tell everyone totally sucked ass, he sounded terrible, then a girl who fucked the lyrics quite a lot, how ever she was very enthusastic and went to the surprise of everyone with a scream into the chorus, after her another girl came on who was very happy that she got on stage, she ran up to Billie, hugged him tightly and kissed him several times and didn't seem to want to let go of him at first, she was so wild that when she finally stopped Billie imitated her and did the same to her. As a perfomer she rocked even harder than the other girl, she was a lil natural, she motivated the crowd, went up to Tre while finishing up the song and ended with jumping down from there and of course had to leave with a Stage Dive, she was really good, I enjoyed watching her.

When he introduced Jason Freese he said he was from Freeseland, and when Tre was walking around on stage during EJN he said "I love Tre Cool, I love Tre Cool, I love my Mike Dirnt". Tre sang during Shout with Billie playing the drums, and when he started playing again he lost one of his drum sticks, I didn't really see it happening that good cause Mike was a lil in the way, but judging by the guys' reaction it must have flown off pretty wildy.

When Billie did the tp gun I tried grabbing it again, at first it mostly flew behind me, but he did so much that eventually I could grab something and
this time I made it to score a nice long piece and I ended up playing around with it a lot, I kinda draped it around my shoulders at first and then put it on my head couple of times, I kept taking it off cause ppl behind me tried to steal it and so after a while took it off completely, I still didn't
wanted to throw it away though cause I was just having so much fun with it and so I held on to it and
like after a minute or so it suddenly occured to me, dude, this things
long, it's perfect so swing it around like a lasso and stuff so I ended up using it to dance around with it for a while till I finally threw it away.
All in all it was really totally perfect, impossible to really describe the feeling how great it was and I can't wait for the next show in 9 days, and I'm wrapping it all up with another lil animation from a youtube video for you, Billie and Jason jumping during Burn out
